Misses' Tops & Skirts
Sizes: XS-S-M-L-XL
| The tops and skirts are designed for lightweight, soft woven fabrics. We suggest
challis, charmeuse, crepe de chine, silk, silk like fabrics or rayon. The front and
sleeves for the tops are cut on the bias. The front neckline is draped. View A has
three-quarter length sleeves. View B has long sleeves. The pull-on skirt has elastic in a
casing at the waist and a circular ruffle on the bottom edge. View A has a shaped hemline
and the skirt is longer on the back. |

Recommend, with Modifications
Fabric selection is critical to achieve the drapey top.
I was suspicious because the pattern's photo (blue outfit) does not look as
draped around the neck as the pattern's drawing shows; so I basted the top
out of scrap fabric, a light weight woven polyester, and found the
neckline stuck out in

Pattern Description: Misses pull on skirts & pull over tops. I made the top View A - draped front, cut on bias, 3/4 length sleeves.
Pattern Sizing: XS to XL. I made Medium.

Highly Recommend
UPDATE I sewed the top and skirt this time. My son calls this the "Granny goes to Bingo dress". He dubbed it that looking at the fabric laid out ready to be cut. I had to agree. I sewed this to get it out of the stash. Now that it is sewn up, it's not too bad, and even he admits it looks nice

Pattern OK, but did NOT work for Me
This is the first kwiksew pattern I have ever made. I've sewn the big 4 all of my life with the occaisonal independent thrown in. My favorite patterns tend to be from Vogue. People with a similar sewing background might find this review useful if they are considering making a kwik sew patter
