Christine Jonson 824 Taper Pant & Wide Leg Pant
The Taper Pant is cut narrow through the thigh and knee and then slightly tapered to the hem. Wide Leg Pant: The Wide Leg Pant is cut full through the thigh and knee, and continues full to the hem.

Easy & Great for Beginners
These are pajama pants. I'd never wear this outfit outside the house.
Pattern Description: Pull-on elastic waist pants.
Pattern Sizing: size 4 - 22. I cut the size 22 since I wanted them to be big and loose.

Highly Recommend
I made the Wide Leg Pant, with a few alterations. First, I straightened the legs below the knee (so they'd be straight leg, not tapered as in the pattern). Pattern Description: Wide leg pant.
Pattern Sizing:4 to 22
Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it?Not enough. You can't tell from the pattern that the legs are tapered, nor that there is no side seam where you could widen the leg.
