Recommend, with Modifications This pattern is no longer in the Butterick catalog. If you’re lucky, you might still find it in stock at the stores. I think they might also be available from Sandra Betzina's web site, and I've seen them at The Sewing Place web site (now on closeout sale).

Recommend, with Modifications I am 5'1" and wear a 6 RTW but have longer legs than most petites. I bought this pattern to try as a muslin, and just whipped it up in some inexpensive poplin. Highly Recommend This is a Sandra Betzina pattern. After some trial and error in fitting my muslin, I have made my first 'real' pair, and I just love them.
I made my standard alteration to shorten, and then added about 3/8" to the center back, tapering to the original pattern line at the side. I did NOT shorten more... |
