Girls' Unitards
Sizes: 4-5-6-7 (Pattern 2852)
|
These unitards are designed for two-way stretch
fabric with a 75% stretch. We suggest cotton-LycraŽ,
nylon-LycraŽ, swimwear fabric, and stretch velvets.
These very close-fitting unitards are all designed
with an empire waist and feature a contrasting fabric bodice. View A
has full-length legs, long sleeves and a round neckline with a hook-closed
keyhole opening on the back. The neckline is finished with a
self-fabric binding. View B and C have a tank style bodice and the
neckline and armholes are finished with elastic. View B is above knee-length and View C features the short leg style. |

Easy & Great for Beginners
This was a quickie little project to replace a store bought unitard that was rapidly nearing the end of its life.
The pattern offers a tank style or a round neckline with a keyhole back closure. I made the tank style this time. My daughter chose some sparkly, shiny, rather stiff, purple lycra/s

Girls' Unitard.
Pattern Sizing:
I used size 7. The sizes are 4-7 in one envelope and 8-14 in KS 2853.
Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it?
A little. I modified it to make a crop top.
Were the instructions easy to follow
