Textile Studio Sewing Pattern Marseilles Shirt # 1205
|
Feminine pull-over shirt with slight drop shoulder and easy fit. View A has a collar and half sleeve. View B features a bias tie neck closure with straight long sleeve. Sewing time 2 1/2 hours.
Suggested Fabric:For best results use a soft draping fabric such as rayon crepe or textured rayon. Fabric should look the same on both sides as wrong side will show at neck opening. Allow extra fabric to match plaids or stripes, for shrinkage if pre-washing and for lengthening.

Recommend, with Modifications
Pattern Description: Pullover top with drop shoulder and slim fit, with collar or bias neckties, long or short sleeves. I chose view B which has long sleeves and the bias neckties.
Pattern Sizing: XXS through XXL. I cut a S in the shoulders and bust extending to an M at the hip.

Pattern Description: Pullover shirt with dropped shoulders. View A has a collar and short sleeves. View B has a slit with ties and long sleeves. I made view B.

Fabric: Soft draping fabric such as rayon is recommended. I used a gray rayon/tencel textured fabric.
