Easy & Great for Beginners
I used this pattern as a starting point for a number of modifications.
The big change was the size. This pattern goes up to a size 16, whereas I am usually a size 20. Also, I wanted a very fitted final product, and I am quite busty. I modified the original pattern by slashing through the center to

Great Wardrobe Builder
Pattern Description: Vest with closure and collar variations. Princess seams front and back. Back ties and buckle. I made version E, one button closure.
Pattern Sizing:NL sizes 4-16. I made my standard size 12, with very little tweaking. Here's a back view and a picture of the vest flat.
