The idea of this pattern would be a perfect assignment for Project Runway: Construct a garment from three rectangles. This is my second Issey Miyake pattern. It's just out of print as of spring 2002 so it's probably still available from Vogue. It's a knee or ankle length straight dress consisting of 4 rectangular pieces: front, back, and two sleeves. The front is lapped over the back at the sides and the sleeves
