So, it's been nearly 3 years since I've made this apron, and in the interim I've made many others. I've had plenty of experience using it. Just this last week I had occasion to make a second one of the Tamari Aprons, and I thought I would post a picture:

The Tamari Apron is a comically simple pattern -- one or two rectangles, a loop, two straps -- that makes up into a long apron that hangs entirely on the bias.
