Highly Recommend
The pattern is really easy to follow. You cut the front and back of the skirt out, the waistband, and then a tie. I used bias tape in navy for the tie on this one. There is elastic and the tie in the waistband.

Easy & Great for Beginners
I stopped by Hancock today and picked up a new pattern for a super fast and simple skirt. I wanted it to be easy and summery. I choose:
Pattern: New Look 6054 in View D.
Slight A shape to the skirt. It has elastic in the waist as well as a drawstring. It turned out a lot shorter than I imagine
