I wanted to make an 1850s style dress for an actress that would be playing that would be portraying a wealthy 42-year-old woman who has just married for the second time. Recommend, with Modifications
Pattern Description:
This was for an authentic 1840s-1852 dress. I didn't make it authentically, because I hand sew as little as possible. The pattern comes with three variations on the bodice, and I made two of them, View A for my older sister and View B for her daughter.
