Vogue Patterns 8885 Misses Jacket
Unlined jacket. A: semi-fitted, collar (cut on crosswise grain), gathers, and band extends into tie ends. B: bias neck trim, tie ends, front, back and side pleats. C: bias, back and shoulder pleats, no side seams, and opening for arms. D: princess seams, front extends into collar (wrong side shows), and french seams. B, C and D: loose-fitting. Highly Recommend
This pattern is very easy even though it is not labelled as such.
I did it with French seams except for the armholes but since there is plenty of ease, I plan to do even these in French seams next time around.
I used real dressy navy French lace which makes this project a great opera jacket!

Great Wardrobe Builder
Pattern Description: Vogue calls them jackets, but I called them shrugs or fancy sweaters. I made view B. for my daughter. Bias neck trim, tie ends, front, back and side pleats. Line drawings here.
FABRICS: Lace, Chiffon and Silk Jersey. Stretch Mesh.
