Yes, the class covers stabilization methods, including determining if you need to stabilize, and what type of products to use when stabilizing. I'll show you how to stabilize areas like hems and shoulder seams, as well as the secret behind making great-looking (and easy!) buttonholes on knits.

Although the focus of the class is learning about knit fabrics and how different knits affect the sizing of a garment, I will go into some general fitting issues. When to use darts, especially bust darts, will be addressed specifically.

This class really concentrates on knit fabrics. I will talk a little bit about which knit fabrics work the best for neckline finishes, but I won't be going into any detail of how to achieve different neckline shapes or how to apply different neckline finishes. FYI, I am talking with PR about offering other knit-related classes and have been thinking a good topic would be on different ways to finish knit necklines.

I wanted to clarify something you mentioned...when you satbilize a hem, does this mean the stitches won't pop when you stretch the hem to get the garment on and off? (and the hem will have good recovery)?
