I thought it might be a good idea to start a new topic for any bug report. To clarify -- a "bug" in computer terminology is an "issue" or a "problem" with a script. So if something is not working the way its supposed to, please report it here. I will watch this topic closely and try to fix as soon as possible.
Note that this topic is not meant for feature enhancements... only things which are not functioning properly.
Thanks in advance for cooperating. ------ - Deepika

Date: 3/29/06 0:44 AM Well, I'll start. Last month, I wrote a review for a pants muslin, and saved it as a draft. Tonight I wrote the real review, and just started over. Some way, somehow, the draft one is showing up in the pattern rotisserie. Here's a screen grab. Clicking on 'read review' prompts it to rightfully tell me that review does not exist. But then why is it showing up on the side? Would deleting the draft make it go away? And if so, how does one delete a draft? I looked, but couldn't find anything. Thanks! ------ ... but what do I know? |

Date: 3/29/06 8:40 AM Thanks for starting this thread Deepika. I have noticed a couple of things that may qualify as either bugs or undocumented features
First, when editing a classified, the software automatically resets the price to negotiable. Second, it clears out the field where you tell it what you are selling, and if you're like me and just want to edit the text of the classified, it gives you an error message when you finish.
Second, when creating a new pattern review, it only retains the last of the tips that you highlight. So for instance, if I highlight 3 tips: Press as you go, Read the directions first, and Welt Pockets, only Welt Pokets shows up when I post the review. I have to go back and edit the review to include all tips that I want, But then, if I edit again, all the tips disappear from the review and I have to re-select each time.
Does that all make sense?
Thanks!

Date: 3/29/06 9:29 AM Hi Deepika, I use a popupstopper and acces to patternreview is possible without disabling this feature but I can not read any thread in Computers AARGH!!! or Hotpatterns issue in No, Really! New Hotpatterns!!! without hitting the button to disable the popupstopper . Otherwise the PR website is gone. -- Edited on 3/29/06 6:50 PM -- ------ http://thesewingdivas.wordpress.com/ |
