Date: 5/7/06 9:23 AM I haven't done a class so am not certain how they work in practice. I am interested in this class but unfortunately will unable to work on the projects between 21st June and start of July. How much would I miss? Would I be able to download all the classes even if I can't access a computer during those dates? Are the classes repeated or are they usually one-offs?

I post one lesson every day for the 15 days -- most lessons take about 1/2 hour to read through. In the last lessons of the class, you'll have a chance to make to half-scale skirts with sheer fabrics supplied in your kit. One of the advantages of these on-line classes is that you are certainly free to work at your own pace -- or in your case, when time allows. The class lessons and class board are left open for one week after the class, so they'll be available to all class registrants until July 3. You could get the lessons you missed then -- or you can make arrangements with me and I'd be happy to send them to you directly. And if you have questions after the class is over and the class board is taken down, I always invite class participants to email me directly.
Right now I don't know when Pattern Review would ask me to offer the class again.
Let me know if you have any other questions, or if I haven't answered your concerns.

Date: 5/8/06 8:57 AM Hi Julesberry,
We usually do repeat classes, unless of course there is very little response (which is not going to be true for Sarah's classes). How often do we repeat. Thats a tough question to answer. It varies. We sometimes repeat every 3 months or twice a year, depending on the schedule and time of the year. Date: 5/11/06 1:17 AM Sarah,
Thanks for your offer to allow me to email you with questions after the class closes. I may also need you to send me the last lessons, depending how soon I get back into things when I return to computerland at the start of July.
Anyway - I decided to sign up because I think summertime is the best time to be studying sheer fabrics!...?

Subject: Fabric kit question Date: 5/17/06 2:38 PM Hi,
This class sounds really interesting. When will the fabric kit be sent to participants? It may take some time to arrive to Sweden and I want it before the class begins.

Reply to Nilla Subject: Re: Fabric kit question Date: 5/18/06 9:32 AM Hi Nilla,
As Deepika let you know, I'll be mailing the international kits in what should be plenty of time -- I'll probably get them out on May 27. I mail the kits airmail, and my post office says it usually takes about 4 to 7 days. In the past, that's been true. The kit will come in a padded manilla envelope.
