Oh. My. God. I saw these Janome Hello Kitty sewing machines and almost wet my pants.

Cute! Are you going to get one for your daughter when she's ready to learn how to sew?

AWWWW, Its SOOO cute!!!!
I totally can see buying this one for dd #3 when she turns 8 or 9.
We just bought a blue kenmore mini ultra for 9 yo dd #2 this month and she is really enjoying it!!!
Thanks so much, Nikki, for sharing this with us :)

Those are adorable!!! Thanks for posting these. I wish my 8 YO DD were interested. She could not care less about sewing. She does love the things I make for her so I guess that is one bright side.

You know, if there was a TOnka or superhero version, my DS woudl love it ... he asked today if boys sew. I told him yes and that I would teach him if he asked. "Even on the machine?" he asked, "Yup!" I answered ... I am looking forward to the sumemr all of a sudden! He needs some new Jammies in a summer weight and length ... I see a project coming up!

Like Miss Frizzle says "Take chances, make mistakes ..." isn't that what fitting is all about? I am happily taking chances and making mistakes as I fit muslin after muslin ...

GET OUT!! That's sooo cute! I'm tempted to buy it just cos it's Hello Kitty! It definitely will be a collectable someday.

ETA: I had to look and see what else Target had in its Hello Kitty appliance line. Check it out--the toaster way cute, plus the toast has her face on it. Too funny!

Stickers can be applied to sewing machines and can turn into any brand you want. I bet you can find appropriate boy stickers somewhere. I've got flower faries and rose stickers on my sewing machine and serger.

This sounds so wonderful. I think boys should be encouraged to sew just as much as girls. Have a great time!

My dd would love that. She still has a few more years until she'll be ready for a machine, however.

She has seen the the Hello Kitty Waffle Maker and was very impressed.
