Organic fabric sources Are they all over-the-top $$??

These would be vendors that can vouch that their products come from renewable resources. I know, that's hippie-speak. But if anyone speaks hippie, I'm listening. I'm in SoCal "hippie central" San Diego, but I'm taking a coastal road trip, stopping in Santa Barbara and San Francisco, etc, and eventually stopping Portland or Seattle. Sweetgrass Fibers sells some of their clothing fabric as yardage: (https://www.sweetgrassfibers.com/fabric.html), but I've never bought from them. Fabricline has a "coming soon" page for organics as well: http://fabricline.com/orsu.html . eta: NearSea is pricey, but some of their stuff is really nice. Really, really nice. And you can get swatches to find out first. Some of the stuff on NearSea shows up later (like months-years later) on the clearance section of HempTraders - the black hemp/recycled poly and Diva Reflection there now were formerly at NSN. -- Edited on 9/7/06 5:20 PM -- ------ mmmmm woooool

I think that builk purchasers sometimes swoop in and make off with all of their inventory. Other items linger for months, but if something new pops in and you want it, I would buy it asap and not wait. ------ mmmmm woooool

I often look at the Near Sea Naturals wishing for their fabrics. Actually, no I'm not, I munged my profile at the beginning of the year and can't update my signature as a result. I stopped tallying my fabric flux back in February, but I'm sure it's in the red (or would that be in the black for an excess of fabric?)... ------ mmmmm woooool
