I dont have time to snoop shop in stores so I mostly check the the online stores to get ideas for my projects. I'd like to know what are your favorite sites for this.

I've been to

I like the Nordstrom web site, also Neiman Marcus. I think both sites are the name of the store. I have more links at home so will add more later.

Here are some I like:

Eileen Fisher: a really cool RTW collection

Oilily: This is a Dutch company that has stores in the US. Primarily a kid's line, but they have some women's. Love their color sense

Sundance Catalog: This catalog includes all sorts of high end Western-type stuff, including clothes. Yes, Robert Redford is involved with this site.

Double D Ranch: More high-style "couture" Western Wear. So sue me, I live in New Mexico!

There are others but you probably already know about Coldwater Creek, Chico's, and such. If I find any more cool stores with websites while I'm in Florida for Thanksgiving, I'll be sure and let you know.

:)

My favorite is the Eileen Fisher site: Eileen Fisher

The styles are simple enough to copy with basic pattern shapes. A lot of Loes Hinse/Textile Studios patterns are similar, such as the skirt wardrobes and the Kimono jacket.

One thing I really like about this site is that it includes line drawings together with the fabrics used for each piece. (Sometimes you have to dig through the site to find the line drawings). The fabrics are very luxurious, and some are too unique to find at fabric stores; but most are solid colors so it would be fairly easy to find something similar.

The colors for each collection also give you good ideas for current color combinations.

Nanflan, we must have been writing about Eileen Fisher at the same time.  :p

I like that Sundance catalog too.

My guilty snoop-shopping pleasure is anthropologie.com
I especially like to check out the details on their knit tops.

My age is probably showing, but I really like Cold Water Creek

I like to look at the runway shows on Style.com. Saks 5th Avenue is also fun to peruse.

One of my favorites is Ann Taylor.  I love this suede jacket.
