With so many craft blogs on the internet these days, I've come across some very cool tutorials. Many of which I'll be using for the holidays. These women are just so darn creative!

Here are a couple I like. The first is an easy twirly skirt that my daughter Loves to wear, the second is a crayon roll that was great for taking on the airplane to Ohio and the last is a wallet tutorial that I used to make a much smaller wallet.

Are there any you like that you'd be willing to share?

Check out these two blogs for 30 Days of Gifts to Sew!
Sewmamasew and The Domestic Diva's Disasters
I wanted to spread the word - this is going to take a lot of work and I totally appreciate the hard work required.
Enjoy!

I don't have a link to add, but I wanted to thank MaryT for her links. The ideas at Sewmamasew for 30 Days of Gifts look terrific!

I have learned so much from our own Debbie Cook at Stitches and Seams

Her pants alterations alone are worth reading every page on her site...and the coverstitching tutorial as well.

Does anyone remember where that Armstrong drape tutorial was?? I think it was out of some school and there were lots of pictures that were wonderful of every step in a bodice drape for a flat pattern.

I know someone out there has a steel trap mind and knows where that is!

Hi Ody,

Is this it? Draping

I believe it was "els" who posted the link. Thanks, els!

I haven't checked out the Diva Disasters, but I have been watching the Sewmamasew site. So, far I've made the apron (my church did a big craft day today and the apron was a door prize) using Amy Butler's pattern from the the Stitches book. It turned out really cute! Sorry no picture. I also did a couple of pincushions, (also for the door prizes.) I'm not sure I'll get anything done for Hearth and Home today, but I have been helping others craft for their Hearth and Homes all day! (I didn't take any classes, just ran around for teachers and cleaned up afterwards and made door prizes.)

It would be fun to do all the things on the list during the month! I've got quite a bit of stash that would do well made into presents for the Holidays!

Hands down most useful favorite is Sandra Betzina's Fly Front Zipper video.
Zipper I've even gotten so I can do it now without running to the 'puter.

There are some really great tutorials out there, aren't there? But this one is at the top of my list.

I'll have to look at that! I have a pair of pants that are almost done. All they need are the zipper! They've been that way since May!
