Since we don't have a Review Gallery for embroidery, I figured this would be a nice way to share what we've done. I don't have an embroidery machine (yet!) but when I get one, I'll be interested in embellishing garments with embroidery. I have seen quite a few inspirational pictures for children's clothes, but would really love to see more for adults.

Oh, and please post where the embroidery design came from if you know it or have a link.

Last summer I made a skirt from a quilting cotton. I took a picture of the print and digitized an design to embroider on a coordinating 2 piece dress. There is a picture in this blog entry.

Can't share pics on my own because of copyright issues, but having covered embroidered adult fashion for Creative Machine Embroidery magazine for the past several years I can assure you there's plenty of inspiration in current and back issues. Creative Machine Embroidery

I don't understand "Can't share pics on my own because of copyright issues."

I though unauthorized sharing/selling of software and/or licensed/exclusive designs were the issues.

If you cannot wear an embroidered garment and have your pic taken, why purchase the design?

I have obtained permission (in writing) to use a particular designer's exclusive embroideries as long as the garment was not sold for profit.

To clarify: As the author of the articles I am under restrictions regarding use of the samples because the magazine paid for the supplies. The issue is publishing copyright, not embroidery design copyright.
