Someone mentioned it on the Louis Vitton Crazy Nurses thread, and I was wondering if anyone else looks at street fashion blogs.

I kind of like the Helsinki one. I've also seen neat things at Tokyo Street Style (click on the neighborhood names -- Harajuku, Shibuya, etc). From all over, The Sartorialist.

I got a real chuckle from the guy who considers Iron Maiden a fashion icon.

Wish there was a street style blog or site featuring women over 50 and fab.

I love, love, love street fashion - the more varied, the better. If I were decades younger, I would *so* be sewing these clothes. The young folk are fortunate to have such freedom of style, shape and color at this time.

I am a big fan of Hel-Looks. I'm just wondering where everyone is getting their amazing "secondhand" and "vintage" shoes and boots!!

My favorite look was definitely the "sweet Lolita." Think about how fun the clothes would be to sew...like giant doll clothes! Definitely not a look any of my daughters would be caught dead in, though.

There's also this fun one from San Francisco: Fashioni.st

Usually the featured folks aren't as over the top as the folks on some of the other street fashion sites, but Fashioni.st definitely gives a good feel for Bay Area-specific street fashion.

Oh! Thank you! This is what I was talking about, that show I saw! Isn't it fun?!!
I really liked the green pea coat with pink buttons and matching sneakers. With those blue pants, purse etc. in the Hellman group.
WEll, I enjoyed all of it, but that is an outfit I could wear. That must have all been by accident, that she found those coordinating colors in such off beat places. I love it when that happens!

The Lolita does look fun, its fun to see what they come up with. They certainly know who they are! I envy them for that reason. I enjoy seeing that...and I admire their confidence. The outfits are very well put together! Don't you think? They are so thought out, and creative. All the different styles, and color, but still staying in that theme. Every single accessory, the hair, all of it. The socks...

That seems to be a common demonator with every participant...they know what they like, and some how they find it, whether gramdna's attic or ebay...and then they put it all together.
Yes, an over 50's one would be fun. There are a few ladies in town, I could take snap shots of that would be good candidates for an interview.
Every time I see a plaid, it makes me smile..the guy in the plaid over coat and the lady plaid leggings...I ought to get some plaid...that I can pull off.
I noticed when guys talk about fashion, they often show a photo of their shoes...nothing but the shoe...without their foot in it. I saw this on a few other sites.
Women usually show you their shoes with their feet in the shoes....
