Date: 11/11/08 6:03 PM This is a quick tutorial for all the contest managers. Even though changing entries is pretty self explanatory, I figured some screen shots might help.
As a contest manager you can :
1. Add/Edit/Delete any entry added to the contest report
2. Link an existing entry to a review
3. Add a project for someone who has not been able to add it themselves.
I will demonstrate all these actions with the help of some screen shots.
First things first. To perform any of the actions above you'd have to be set up as a contest manager and you'd have to be logged in.
Go to the Contest Report. You can do that by clicking on All contests from the left navigation bar.
Modifying an existing entry
From the contest report, click on the Edit link next to the member whose entry you want to modify.

You'd have to edit each entry separately As you can see from the screen shot, you can edit pretty much anything here. You can also delete an entry. Be careful though, once made, changes cannot be reversed.
You can also add a new entry for that participant.

What if the member has not entered their item in the contest report?
See the link towards the bottom of the first screenshot? Clicking on that will display all the members who have entered the contest but have not added any projects. Click on Add entry link and you'll be able to add a project for them. Their review should exist though The screen displays all reviews updated in the last 3 months.

I hope this helps you manage the contests more effectively. Please post any questions/concerns here. -- Edited on 11/11/08 6:15 PM -- ------ - Deepika

Date: 11/11/08 9:22 PM Deepika, does the contest board automatically 'roll through' to the gallery? If you delete from the board, for example, does the picture also dissappear from the gallery? Is there a time delay for this? ------ Sew on through all ups and downs. Remember--it is only fabric.

Date: 12/18/08 10:48 AM Thanks Deepika, this tutorial will be very useful!
My only question thus far is: where can we get the rules for the contests we are managing so we can set up the official thread?

If I need to delete a contest entry using the delete function will it leave the review intact? I need to remove an entry from the contest I'm managing and I don't want to completely remove the review - just delete it from the contest.
Please let me know!

Date: 7/9/10 12:23 PM Hi JT,
I am obviously not Deepika, but will say, having asked the same question, that yes, deleting an entry from the contest will leave the original review intact.
