Date: 9/3/09 5:38 PM I'm thinking about going back up to the LA Fashion District in late September. Anyone interested in making it a group get together?
I'll be mostly looking to find materials for my Halloween costume. Once I figure out what I'm going to be.
Does the weekend of the 19th or 26th sound better?
Anyone got their Sept. Michael Levine's handy? Any good coupons?
Cheers,

Date: 9/19/09 3:06 AM That sounds like fun! I was just there a few weeks ago with some of my girlfriends and vowed to go more often. I use to work on Maple Street for Jag and Sasoon Jeans -remember them?!
That was a lifetime ago, it has changed so very much but is as much fun as ever. Paul's kitchen (chinese) is on San Pedro and they still remember me from almost 30 years ago when I worked for Sue Wong and First Glance. I love the food there and it is a favorite of many in the garment industry and has all the Dodger/Tommy Lasorda memrobilia
as they use to cater for them. It's a hole in the wall but a delicious one. I was there last week which is quite a hike for me but Oh-so-worth-it. Great Chow mein, wor wonton soup and love the rice!
