Hi,
I am seaching for a take along machine (not to heavy) for quilting classes and would like to find a nice machine. This seach also includes finding something under 200. I would like it to feed the fabric evenly and can handle 1/4" seams. Am I dreaming??

Thank you, Cheryl

I'd still recommend that Pfaff 2022 you were looking at.

Hi Karen,
Thank you for the information to my prior post. Sorry if I did not thank you then. I read the review and then posted that it would be perfect. Then I read it a second time and the last paragraph got me thinking about the Pfaff 2027 I had for 6 months. That machine drove me crazy, I had more headaches with the tension every time I wanted to sew. I spent more time adjusting the tension than sewing. I sold it. I don't think the 2000 series were great Pfaff machines. Just my opinion. If you know something different please let me know.
Thanks again, Cheryl

That's too bad. I have the 2027 and love it! I have had it since February.

I hope that you can find a sm that you love!

Hi Sewnknit,
I own several. I love my Janome 1600P, I will be buried with my Pfaff 7530 and my brand new BL Quest Plus. I'm just looking for a machine I can tote around not caring if it gets bumped and bruised a little. I guess my 2027 was a lemon.
