Here are just a couple of pictures from the week before the wedding, one at the church. We asked the photographer to get a couple of close ups, so hopefully when those come in I can post additional pics.
The dress was by far the largest project of any kind I have ever worked on and I enjoyed every minute I worked on it, right down to the last bead! And I wasn't even sewing it on the evening before the wedding (although I was doing a few last minute alterations for others).
The day was spectacular and I had sooo much fun. To my knowledge, nothing went wrong, and everyone had a lovely day. I must admit, I couldn't take my eyes off of my daughter. She was radiant all day.

A big thank you goes out to all those who helped me along the way. I really mean it when I say that I couldn't have done it without you. I made a lot of mistakes that I had to rip and redo, and I also avoided a ton of mistakes that I really feel couldn't have been fixed. The knowledge I had before I started each step helped me to create this masterpiece!

Maripat,
Well, done!!! The dress turned out gorgeous and your DD made a beautiful bride. You have every reason to be proud. I'm sure everyone who came to the wedding was very impressed.
I can understand you not wanting to take your eyes of your DD, there is something so special about a daughter's wedding and adding that you made the dress that added to the specialness of the day.
I had the same feeling. At my DD wedding, I wish I had about 5 of me just to take everything in, to visit with everyone and to just sit back and watch the bride and groom.
Glad to hear the whole day was spectacular.
Now enjoy all the compliments that you are sure to get here.
