Date: 10/9/09 8:42 AM I just got an update in my email account about some new comments on my Singer 221-K review. When I clicked on the link, I was shocked to see a picture of a machine that isn't like the one I reviewed. The link is here: Machine review
My machine is VERY different in its visual appearance, and I posted the URL to Flickr so everyone could see it (there is no clickable link feature when writing a review) The machine pictured and the machine I reviewed are worlds apart--literally. One was made in the US and the other was made in Scotland; even the colors are different and the foot pedals; the pictured is a button type and mine's a clamshell. WHAT'S GOING ON? (added for emphasis) Why was my review changed without my knowledge? If I could have, I would have posted a photo right where the new one occurs, but I wasn't able to. I'd like to have the photo removed, please. Or at least the ability to post a direct picture from my Flickr acount showing the machine I reviewed. Thank you.

Reply to Miss Fairchild Date: 10/9/09 9:15 AM We have a master database in which we have photos of the sewing machines members have reviewed. Its possible that we may have posted a wrong image. I will remove it. ------ - Deepika

Reply to Deepika Date: 10/9/09 4:49 PM Thanks, Deepika. I knew you'd take care of this quickly. In that regard, would it be possible for us to post a clickable link to a photo of our machine, if we have a photo? That way, whoever runs the database and inserts the wrong picture, won't be on the "chopping block" again. ------ "Well-behaved women seldom make history"--Laurel Thatcher Ulrich

Reply to Miss Fairchild Date: 10/9/09 5:14 PM Yes, in the next revision on which I am working now you will be able to upload a photo of your machine if you wish. It still won't be live for another month or so. I have a lot of new fun changes planned in the next few months. Working really hard to make the site even more user friendly so I really hope this will work. ------ - Deepika
