Date: 10/17/09 2:56 PM They had one of the F600s at the Quilt Show in Houston. Oh. My. God. This machine is amazing. It WILL be my next sewing machine amazing.
The motor is probably the quietest I've ever heard. While I was playing with it, I could hear the conversations in the booths around me perfectly.
I folded up some gnarly denim - it sewed from 2 layers up to 14 then back down to 2 without missing a beat! No jean-a-ma-jig required!!!! And the motor didn't slow down or hesitate one bit at 14 layers. The stitches came out perfect.
It also comes with all the feet I use, so no additional purchases necessary!

Date: 10/17/09 3:21 PM If/Once you do buy the machine, you'll actually be the first on PR who bought it only after test driving it. The rest of us who own this awesome machine bought it from just one PR thread! Next page>> |

Date: 10/17/09 3:36 PM They women in the booth were surprised I knew so much about the machine. I told them about the never-ending threads here, and about all of you who bought one sight unseen! Next page>> |

Date: 10/17/09 8:44 PM I love this machine for all of the reasons you mentioned. The motor is so strong! Also, I love the thread cutter - and the stitches are really cute and different! ------ Deb Next page>> |

Reply to SG1 Date: 10/18/09 0:25 AM Are they always about $1200? I see there are three on Ebay at that price. Is this the same machine?

Reply to Terri A Date: 10/18/09 0:50 AM I don't know if that is the same machine, but I wonder...It says several were bought in an auction at a storage facility. Have they been in the country long enough to be impounded and auctioned off?

Reply to Terri A Date: 10/18/09 10:32 AM I see he/she has only 3 comments on previous purchases?? Good feed back, but very expensive machines, too. Seems weird to only have a feed back count of 3 selling this expensive of items...all sewing machines???? Next page>> |
