Date: 10/18/09 9:48 PM Folks,
While clicking on my Firefox icon, my mouse slide and the icon was pulled off the side bar where it was stored and disappeared into thin air! Where did it go? It did not land on my desktop. I have no idea how to find it and must! so many important bookmarks stored with this Firefox - really important ones!
My husband, the Mac user, is gone for a few days. I am using Safari to access PR.
Does anyone know what I did and how I can restore/find this icon to put back on my side bar? If you do, can you give me step by step instructions on locating it.
Forever grateful - not so bright Mac user!

Date: 10/18/09 9:53 PM Try this:
Click on the apple at the top left hand side of your screen. A menu will come down. Click on RECENT ITEMS and see if it is listed there. If it is (and it should be), you can open it from there. You can also drag it back down to your dock from there.
Don't worry - it's not deleted off of your computer.

Date: 10/19/09 0:45 AM Once you launch it from "Finder">"Applications" as Peggy suggests, it should reappear in your task bar at the bottom. Once it is running, a right click (or click and hold if using a one-button mouse) should give you a pop up menu with an option to "Keep in Finder" or "Launch at Startup." |
