Date: 10/27/09 1:26 PM I did some dress searching, and I found a few dresses that were made out of silk razmir .... what is that? I did all sorts of searches on it, and quite can't find a description of it. When I search it, it has a bunch of nice wedding dresses made out of that fabric. |

Reply to hyunjoo Date: 10/27/09 1:53 PM I think you were seeing a missspelling of silk radzimir.
Silk Radzimir
A fine, lustrous silk fabric with embedded cross-ribs. Softer, less crisp and duller than taffeta.
CATEGORY : Fiber
SOURCE : Textile Glossary by Marvin Klapper ------ All women's dresses are merely variations on the eternal struggle between the admitted desire to dress and the unadmitted desire to undress.

Reply to hyunjoo Date: 10/27/09 2:34 PM Absolutely luscious fabric --- crunches like silk duchess, but with a matte finish -- and when you crunch and wrinkle it, you can smooth the wrinkles away...... I have been dreaming about a trench coat out of a piece that is a soft turquoise blue, with gray undertones..... ------ Susanne
