Date: 10/28/09 7:30 AM Once again need help from Mac lovers!
My wireless mouse needed new batteries but I did not put them in right away. I just inserted regular mouse with cable into keyboard.
Would love to use my wireless mouse again but can't get it to work. Tried to find info on this in my mac user book but there is none.
My Mac is a Mini Mac and it is about 4-5 years old.
Thanks for your help.

Date: 10/28/09 9:47 AM perhaps the batteries are not inserted correctly? Both plus ends of the batteries face the same way, this is contrary to usual placement. In mine the plus on both face up towards the little green light. |

Reply to woggy Date: 10/28/09 10:20 AM Go to the Apple support site and search for this issue - I bet you'll find it. Most of the things that happen are pretty common and you'll see other people's solutions. You might also consider buying another brand of mouse. I use a Microsoft Intellimouse Explorer 3 which I love, and it is a corded USB mouse. Much more ergonomic shape, and doesn't eat batteries which pollute the world. I use this on my Mac. When I got my first Mac they only had that stupid one button mouse.

Date: 10/29/09 11:45 AM I use a Logitech V220 with my Mac desktop. It's designed for a notebook because it is smaller than a regular mouse, but the smaller size is more comfortable for long hours using Photoahop. I LOVE it!
PS...just don't forget to turn it off when not in use or it could eat up batteries. |

Date: 10/29/09 12:00 PM Thanks to all but I realized this morning that the port the Logitech is plugged for the wireless to receive its signal no longer works. Will have to find another port to plug this into to get my mouse to work.
