I am in the process of drafting a 1955 Butterick 7373 in a size 16 up to an 18.5. If the bodice was a separate piece from the sleeve, I am pretty sure I could swing it...but what is really throwing me off is how do I redraft a front bodice pattern piece that is connected to the sleeve? It is all one piece...sleeve and bodice Here is the picture of the dress and pattern pieces. Please help. I am wanting to wear this dress this weekend:

I recently resized a similar vintage pattern and wrote it up on my blog. You may find some useful information out there. I summarized everything here, and there are links in that post that will take you back to the more detailed drafting blogs and also other websites that I used to do my pattern fitting. The dress that I made also has those same sleeves, and I went from about an 18 to a 20, so you might find the posts useful.
