Date: 11/4/09 8:49 PM I bought a Pfaff Tipmatic 1027 (early 80s) in very nice condition today for what I thought was a good price. It looks like it works well, but, before I invest in a manual, wanted to check it out. Do these machines get oiled? If so, does anyone have the details of that?

Date: 11/4/09 10:25 PM I have a manual for the model 1071 Tiptronic from the 1980s which may be in the same series as yours. According to my manual it says do not oil the machine but do occasionally put one drop in the bobbin race.
