Date: 11/6/09 7:04 PM I have a set of overlocker/serger feet that fit Elna 604E, 624DE and 624DSE.
As I do not need these feet I am wanting to sell them. Is it possible to find out what other models/brands these feet will fit?
Thanks.

Reply to addicted2fabric Date: 11/6/09 9:54 PM I have the next model up, the 644. I believe they will fit, but I would need the parts # to confirm. ------ My grandmother taught me to sew when I was 10, and I've been sewing ever since. |

Reply to diane s Date: 11/7/09 5:22 PM Hi there, the only markings on the feet are the letters P, D, G and Q for the type of feet they are.

Reply to addicted2fabric Date: 11/7/09 6:22 PM Those feet seem to be some of the feet that I use on my Elna 744 Coverlock combo model and according to my old foot brochure these feet don't fit many of the Elna regular sergers.
I think the feet can be used on Pfaff coverlock machines though because many of the Pfaff and Elna coverlock feet are identical. The 3 metal feet that came in the Pfaff Overlock Campaign Kit that I use on my Elna 744 are the Q, D and G feet pictured. I could use them on my Pfaff basic 4 thread 4842 also except for one of the feet that did not seem to fit properly. The 4842 is a larger model serger designed the same as my Elna cover lock combo and styled differently than some of the older basic Pfaff sergers. The 4842 also has a knife that drops for disengaging instead of having to be pushed to the side. I don't think these fit will fit all Pfaff sergers. -- Edited on 11/7/09 6:26 PM -- |

Date: 11/7/09 10:35 PM I have a 600 serger series work book and it doesn't identify the feet by letter, only part #. for instance the blind hem foot is part # 396001-93. ------ My grandmother taught me to sew when I was 10, and I've been sewing ever since. | Please LOGIN or Create Profile
