Last night I logged on and followed all instructions: saw that Kenneth King was in the chat room. I waited for 20 minutes with no activity (audio) at all before I logged out. What didn't I do to hear Kenneth?

As far as I know the only way to get audio in a chat room is to have on a webcam with a microphone and speakers. However, my knowledge of webcams is limited.

Tonight I logged on for the Piped Pockets chat. I saw other names on the chat "screen" and I asked where the room for my class was. Another woman stated the same question. Then it seems several of the women left and I went back to see if I could see anything that I should click on to find out where the class chat was being held. Then after 40 MINUTES of being there and going back and forth to the rooms, someone told me to go to another room and gave me the password for that room chat. I did that and this was after I ask if there was a moderator or someone who could advise me. I had several questions on the chat screen. Anyway I did what I was told and then Kenneth King said he sent me three messages and he was sorry they didn't go through. GO THROUGH WHERE? This is my first class with pattern review. I did all I was told to do and missed the first 40 minutes of the chat....I did not find any messages to me from Kennneth King and I was very disappointed that no one tried to help such as a moderator or the instructor. Does everyone always know everything to do from the start. So I got in on 20 mins. of chat and still had to spend $26.00 more for the class in order to participate. I had to get a foot and adapter in order to be able to do the class instructions. This should have been mentioned before paying for the class. I hope things will go smoother if I participate in another class.

I apologize. I forgot to create the chat room for tonight's chat. Thats what resulted in this confusion.

My understanding is that we could print the chat room conversation. I was unable to participate last night in the piped buttonholes etc class. I have just gone to the chat room and can't figure out how to bring up a transcript of the chat. Help!!

This was my first online class. At first it was a little confusing but Kenneth sent me a pm with the room info and password with no problem. I think it's just an online chat, I don't think there's supposed to be audio.
