Hi there all

I have just finished my second quilt and thought I would share with you all. It is another fence rail pattern. It is for my niece for christmas. There is a pic in the reviews as well as more in my photo album here.

Thanks for letting me share.
Always Maggie

Both are very nice! I would like to make one but have my sights on a log cabin first! Did you chose your colors at random?

I made a few quilts years ago, and recently have gotten interested in them again. Here's a pic of a maple leaf/log cabin I'm working on right now. Quilt This shows a few of the blocks I've finished. I'm about 3/4th finished sewing the blocks.

I used a jelly roll that is a pre cut strip and comes from a company's line. Didn't explain that well did I lol well what I mean to say is that the jelly roll comes from say Moda and it contains all the designers fabrics so it all coordinates.

I did match the borders and backing from a fabric store here. I am still learning to coordinate fabric so I find this helps me. Also helps in the cutting LOL

That is a beautiful quilt. Will look fab when you are finished. Love the colors and the textures.

Nice change to just a fence rail pattern.
