Date: 11/10/09 6:39 PM Hi all,
I finished weaving the fabric for my wedding dress! which means it's time to start weaving up the fabric for my wedding-coat. I've woven up six samples, trying to figure out how far apart to space the eternity-knot motifs, and would love to get opinions on which one you think would look best in the finished garment.

And the wedding-dress project (which has sketches of everything, and photos of the other fabrics in the gown):

Thoughts? I am thinking I like the last sample best, but I'd like to know what you think and why!

Reply to tienchiu Date: 11/10/09 9:32 PM I looked at your photos - wow, beautiful work.
I can't really say which I like better. Hard to judge without some scale reference. Generally, I like the symmetry of the close spacing in both directions.

Date: 11/11/09 11:29 AM I also like the second and the last (as you do.) I think it's because the spacing on both is taller than it is wide. This is more visually pleasing and will help make you look taller (think vertical stripes vs. horizontal.)
Beautiful work! ------ "My butt is just the price I have to pay for having such great tits."
