Since the Ellageo Plus is right under the Ellegante 2 ... I would say either the Innovis 2800D or 2500D is the closest. You would have to look at the specs to make sure as the 2800D is fairly new. The Ellegante 2 is the same as the Duetta 4500D (replacing Disney with Nancy Zeiman designs).

Hope this helps.

Hi Melissa,
The Ellageo Plus compares with the Brother 2800D sewing machine. Both of these machines are new.

thank you - i guess the only difference would be the disney designs. Do you know if I can get more disney designs that what is offered?

Does anyone have either of these machines?

How much is the Brother one going for? Cant find a Review here.

HI Melissa,
I have the 2500D with an upgrade which includes the three free-motion feet, the presser foot sensor, and the pivot foot that is already on the 2800D Brother machine. If you go to the Brother site you will see the embroidery cards available to purchase. Yes, there are many Disney cards that you can purchase and use in any Brother embroidery machine that has a D at the end of the model number. Look online and you can find places besides your Brother dealer where you can buy the cards.

Hi Melissa,
No, you must buy a Brother embroidery machine and it must have a D at the end of the model number. A taste of Disney card can be use without the machine having a D at the end of the model. I think that other pes format machines might be able to use that one card, but I am not sure. All of the other Disney Brother cards can only be used with the Brother machines with the D in the model.

Hi Melissa,
No, you cannot even make a copy of the design from the card to your hard drive. In fact, you can't enlarge the design or change it in any way. The card can only be used in the card slot of the machine or through a P.E. Design software box. Harriet
