Reply to kira Date: 11/20/09 9:38 AM I've never seen them before, but I do mostly clothes shopping when it comes to fabric. They look reputable. No BBB complaints surface on google. Let us know if you try them and they are a good shop. ------ Sewing: A creative mess is better than tidy idleness. ~Author Unknown

Reply to Sharon1952 Date: 11/20/09 11:59 AM Yea, I usually shop for apparel fabrics, but just remodeled my masterbedroom and bath and wanted to make window treatments and a shower curtain. I originaly found the fabric at Fabrics.com, but it never came back in stock (they had a note saying it would be restocked on 11/17/09). I contacted Fabric.com and was told it was discontinued so I googled the fabric and found it at 1502 Fabrics. I emailed them with questions about the fabric and they responded back very quickly and very helpful. So I am going to order from them and let you know how it goes. ------ http://kirabell.blogspot.com/ |

Reply to kira Date: 11/22/09 9:05 PM Actually, they're local to me. Didn't realize they had a web site. It's been a good 10 years since I've done any home dec sewing (it's overdue, but finances are not what they should be), so I haven't needed they're services.
That would be the FIRST place I would go to shop if I were in the market for home dec fabrics, and we have several sources locally (but no close garment fabric sources ). ------ Meredith

ETA they are also in Winston-Salem. I always forget, because the High Point store is closer to me. Haven't been to W-S store. -- Edited on 11/23/09 5:28 PM -- ------ Meredith
