Anyone know if you can buy a single issue and where. willing also to purchase over the internet. I really like the Dec issue but am not sure how committed to it yet.

Chapters Indigo carries Burda mags. You probably want to ask them to hold a copy for you though, they sell out FAST.

Lynnrowe,
Wow. Sadly the nearest chapter is an hour away and I can't drive due to health reasons....bummer! I wonder if I can get in online? I will have to try to figure it out.

My hubby does go to Toronto frequently ---I could send him on a mission!!

You might try a German Specialty store that sells deli meats etc. Our local Dutch store sells Burda but you must pre-order. Also Melody at Fashionista Fabrics sells them individually. Try GLP news (in the Merchant Gallery here at PR) and see if you can buy a trial 3 month subscription. They do have a Canadian number. Hope you get one!

I suspect if you called a Chapters and explained, they'd be able to mail you the magazine.

Try contacting the distributer either via phone or email. I think that you can purchase a single issue directly if they have it in stock. I've done this for issues (distributed in the US). Good luck!

Here in Quebec, Fabricland have it. Many of the International Press shops have it too.

Do you want the December issue? It will be in Chapters soon. I could pick up one for you and mail it to you if you want. It wouldn't be a problem at all.

I've purchased from needleworks.org online in the past. It took a couple of weeks for them to initially reply to my email (she said it got lost in the shuffle & appologized), but they held the issue I wanted while I mailed them a cheque. Now I live close enough to visit their store.

Not all Chapters sell Burda.

Good point. My nearest Chapters is in Kitchener-Waterloo, and the last time I was there (admittedly, months ago) they didn't have Burda magazines. Not sure if they do now. I may look into it, although I buy mine at K-W Book Store on King Street in Kitchener.

Stretch queen, what city are you in or near? That would help us let you know where you could locate a copy.
