Date: 3/2/10 11:01 PM As the membership of pr grows (and hallelujah for that), I notice that increasingly often the project photos are either tiny or unclickable. Speaking for myself, if that pic is not clickable, I usually don't even bother to read any further, because the visual information I really need simply isn't there.
Just a guess, but I'm thinking that newbies do not know it's a good idea or even possible to preview their posts, and thus have no idea that the image they have linked to is actually not working.
Is there any way to help new users with the template so that their projects really are visible with their first attempt at a review? -- Edited on 3/3/10 0:58 AM -- |

Date: 3/3/10 9:35 AM Maybe just letting them know in the comment section would be a help. I recently posted a review and previewed it (but since I was logged onto my flickr account, of course I saw all of the photos), and other viewers could not see it. I wouldn't have known it without the feedback. ------ "A girl should be two things: classy and fabulous.”

Reply to Deepika Date: 3/3/10 11:23 AM Thanks, Deepika! I am a Mac person, almost totally clueless about computer protocol, and if there are other users like me out there, we can certainly use all the help we can get. |

Date: 3/30/10 6:38 AM I would love to know how to make a picture 'clickable'. In my 1 review the pic was taken with a camera phone and not my camera and I can't seem to make it a photo that enlarges. Does this have to do with resizing the photo?

Date: 4/8/10 12:36 PM Thnks, Deepika! I'm hoping we'll be able to insert thumbnails directly into our posts, it's so much easier to "see" concepts, especially in pattern alterations, this way! ------ www.fehrtrade.com |
