Date: 6/2/10 6:22 PM I am now very spoiled by the huge sheets I buy at Greenberg & Hammer (in NYC, and I don't know what it would be like to have it sent), but before I used it I bought Saral transfer paper, at art-supply stores. You can get it on rolls, or you can buy a sample envelope with five different colors, including white. Good stuff-- Google it if interested! |

Date: 6/2/10 6:35 PM Yeah, most of the tracing paper these days is awful. But what kind of tracing wheel are you using? The smooth ones don't work at all, from what I can tell. The edge needs to be bumpy/serrated:

Date: 6/2/10 8:21 PM The tracing paper you suggest, does it come out of your fabric. I am having an awful time with dritz tracing paper and it not washing out of my fabric...It is really depressing to have a white jecket almost finished only to find that the marks on the inside bleed thru to the outside and I can't remove them...any suggestions? |

Date: 6/2/10 8:25 PM Check out this notion review by TJSews. I'm going to look for this and give it a try. I don't like the Dritz brand either. |

THe color is so light i cant see it ever, I never sew with White fabric. So as far as it not coming out I am not sure cuz I cant even see the color.

Date: 6/3/10 7:25 AM Hey Rock,
I don't know that paper, but if you're going to order from Amazon, I'd recommend that instead of buying those two Clover tracing wheels, get the Clover double-wheel tracing wheel.
You can take out one of the wheels and use it to trace normally, but if you ever want to trace a cutting line AND a seam line at the same time, this is one great tool to have. You can move the two wheels around and get a variety of distances between them.
(p.s., they don't have 3-fer deals. they just add the prices up and you think you're getting a bargain price!)
