Date: 6/19/10 5:50 AM It was a HOT , dark and stormy night. Poorpigling tossed and turned. Something was in the air.. something sinister she could tell , as her hair bristled . of course that may have been that cheap shampoo.. but its best to err on the side of caution.
As the thunder roared , and the lightning illuminated her new Juki, she sighed, unplugging her serger strip. No more sewing tonight..
She turned on the news.. As the dang dogs won't leave her alone long enough to get rolling on this story.. sigh......

Date: 6/19/10 5:59 AM Authorities today released our most notorious Panty Review member.. GL Butterfly.
Judge Franksdottir, given the position of judge due to her wisdom and experience through the years.. and thats a LOT of years folks. Ordered the release of Butterfly to take place on Saturday morning .
GL Butterflys sentence was thrown out due to the misbehavior of a jury member during the deliberations. As much as we dislike her roaming PR we can no longer keep her in chat .. the judge was quoted as saying.

Date: 6/19/10 6:09 AM Mufffet turned off the morning news.. it was disturbing at best.. Having GL Butterfly on the loose might interfere with her plans.
She poured her morning coffee and looked over her newest acquisition.. She ran her hands over the leather binding.. Finally the book.. The Best of Bobbins was hers. Her collection would soon be complete. She glanced over the others.. Bobbins Throughout History. , Bobbins Throughout the World.. Where to Buy and sell Bobbins.. Bobbins for Everyone.. and now her newest.
There was only one more book she must have.. One Million Creative Uses for Bobbins.. and the only person she knew who had a copy was................Poorpigling.

Date: 6/19/10 6:18 AM Carolyn, the chief warden in charge of GLs confinement signed off the paperwork.
The release of GL had gone smoothly for the most part.. The prisoner had refused to hand over her prison garb however.. which had been a problem ever since Amy-May had been hired to design and sew the outfits for the prisoners.
Apparently GL thought the horizontal striped print increased her bustsize.. and the very wide leather belt made her waistline appear to be smaller.. not to mention how very edgy it looked. And although GL was very happy to have the ankle bracelet off.. she wanted to keep it as an apparent souvenir.
Little did Carolyn know that GL had big plans for that bracelet. |

Date: 6/19/10 6:25 AM Sewfrequent poured herself another cup of coffee.. well in reality she sent her DH to starbucks again.. but she knew she would need the extra kick to make it through the day. Having quit up her position as a sewing teacher she was not happy now with that decision.. being on the streets meant being at GLs mercy.. and her release was causing great distress to sewfrequent.
On top of which she had wanted to get dressed earlier today.. in her brand new outfit.. but the store Henkooks had called and insisted she could not have her dress.. and as they had also refused to return her money yet.. she would have to go naked or wear yet another anthropology knock off.. for the meantime....At the sale price the dress had become so popular the management thought they should increase the price of the outfit.. hmmm.. seems to be going around.. lets hope thats not a new trend.

She was needing some advise in acquiring a pfaff she had her eyes set on.. A bernina girl at heart.. she was nevertheless excited at acquiring an older pfaff.. Undiagnosed yet.. she had also acquired SMAD. Little did she realize that first pfaff would not be her last.. and that soon she would be wanting vintage pfaffs,,, and the person she knew who had the most vintage pfaffs was ...........poorpigling. |

They were afraid this development might mean a delay in the publishing of 'MODS GONE WILD" and they had to get their hands on that book..

Date: 6/19/10 6:44 AM Sewlip smiled... he had been smiling a lot since taking up with the manager of the local Joeannies.. Not only did he have new stash.. but a lifetime fifty percent off coupon.
What he didn't have was a sewing machine that had haunted him for quite some time.. a vintage 30l.. He had lusted after that machine since he read poorpiglings post quite sometime back.. ''A black model..gleaming finish like a new automobile.. gorgeous gold details.. I keep it across from my project desk so to be able to view it all day" he remembered her writing. Since reading that he had been more smitten with poorpiglings machine than poorpigling..
GLs release might pave the way for him to finally get his hands on that machine..
