I keep hearing snippets about a new Babylock called the Symphony. Anyone have a pix? or a brochure? Sure would like to know what it can do! Thanks

I was at my local sewing store today and to my surprise the Symphony was sitting on a table near the front door! It looks very similar to the Espire. The owner told me that the Symphony was released early because dealers were selling out of the Espire but Baby Lock has already stopped making it. I took some pictures with my cell phone. Sorry they aren't of better quality but I wasn't prepared to see one in person and I took them while holding my daughter. Enjoy!

This has probably been released in conjunction with the Brother Laura Ashley NX-2000 model.

Yea, I remember the owner mentioning a July 1st event for the Symphony.

Thanks for posting the pictures. Take off the word Symphony and it looks just like the Espire. I was hoping for a color screen. Looks like my wallet is safe .

LOL! I was surprised there wasn't more of a revamping (if any) to the cosmetics of it too. Too bad, I was so excited...

It will be interesting to find out what the differences are. If the Symphony just has more stitches, Baby Lock should do an update for the Espire.

I was talking with my BL dealer about Symphony, but she didn't know what the changes were over the New Espire. Unless the Symphony has built-in IDT, I'll stick with my New Espire. I'm very interested though to know exactly what the new features are!

Looks like an interesting machine.

Damn shame we just don't get the Babylock sewing machines models over here in the UK, only the sergers and a few basic sewing machines. Some of the threads on your Babylock machines I read make them sound really tempting.

You might find a Brother machine in the UK that is the same as one of the Babylock models that you like being that Brother makes BL except for the Quest Plus.
My Brother Innovis Quilt Club model is really the same machine as one of the older Babylock QC or DC models but mine came with some extras..like the extension table, knee lift and more quilt feet.
