Date: 7/30/10 5:41 PM I am going to make a Halloween quilt. Has anyone here ever made one? I have 3 fabrics chosen. I would like to see any of yours so I can get ideas!
Thanks,

Date: 8/28/10 1:31 PM Well, I'm PLANNING on making one using halloween motifs cut from fabric and surrounding them with colored strips ala log cabin style...if I actually get to it!
And another idea was to add blocks of "spiderweb" strips interspersed with halloween motif blocks. I don't have a picture or link, but basically strips of fabric go round and round the middle in a web look. I don't think I can describe the process without thoroughly confusing you, but you may find instructions online by googling. |

Date: 9/1/10 12:58 PM That's a great idea. I'm trying to get enough money together to buy a Halloween bundle from Keepsake Quilting (NAYY) because I think it'll accentuate well with what I already have. Can't wait!

I fell in love with this last year but know I don't have the patience to do it. I think it's beautiful and born in raised in Baltimore even more so. |

Date: 9/10/10 12:52 PM If you need more fabric, Moda has a lovely "Haunted Mansion" line available right now. Lots of purple/orange/green/black and some really neat patterns. I made a bag out of the purple trees print and may buy more to keep on hand as a backing. ------ Janome L-108 ~ Janome MC6600
