Date: 8/18/10 6:30 AM Poor LinWoe had arrived home at last .. Carrying two more vintage machines had been a labor of love, but her arms were growing weary. Abigail and Morticia were prized acquisitions and well worth the time and trouble it took to get her hands on them.
Of course that was only the start of LinWoe's troubles that day. As always when she looked around. she realized too late that already outta room in her small apartment.. she would have to do some rearranging , major time to be able to put her machines down in place ,
On the bright side, she did not have to cook her dinner, as she had no kitchen and never cooked anyway.
Somewhere in the apartment LinWoe heard the chirping of yet another feathered addition. Poorpiglings latest find, Sweetiepie. LinWoe had no shame at all.. no limits , no boundaries when it came to feathers of any kind.
She was relieved to hear the chirping, although that meant the cat had still not returned. having left some l4 featherweights ago.. when LinWoe had removed the last food in the house,,the cat food,, for room for yet another vintage machine.
How did this all start ?? Where was it leading ?? And what would the end be ??
Well, that fellow PR members is a story to be told.. So pour a cup and kick back. As this is going to be a SMAD tale indeed. -- Edited on 8/18/10 6:31 AM -- |

It was the year 20l0,,. and the economy was in a shambles. Many who had SMAD disease could no longer afford the TOL machines they had previously found so much joy in buying.. And many others simply could not justify yet another machine at the prices they currently sold for. And many more were running out of room for those large babies.
Others were simply looking for the simple pleasures of life and sewing.. Some were thinking back fondly of their mothers and grandmothers machines. And others were just tiring of all the issues of the computerized models.
For many like LinWoe, they simply found the vintage machines had an air of mystery.. a hoard of history.. and were cute to boot.
And even in these dark times, vintage machines were plentiful and affordable.. and so were the stories to be told. |

Date: 8/18/10 6:47 AM Now as we all know.. LinWoe had always been an enabler of great proportions. A prime example for the rest of us. No one could touch her reputation.. that had been been for the most part.. in the area of acquiring fabric stashes.. So what had happened to LinWoe may be a lesson to all of us. A disease that causes enabling can left unchecked spread quickly. Although LinWoe was not the only one suffering from this.. NEM had bit many others before her.. And of course NEB , the cousin virus that flew in feathered friends had been picked up by LinWoe quite unknowingly. Not really intentionally as it would seem with others. The combination had only intensified LinWoes SMAD.. When your system is down, and you are ill, it only goes to figure you may catch other diseases.. and indeed she had.. and was suffering many other side effects too.. -- Edited on 8/18/10 6:48 AM -- |

Now we cannot entirely blame LinWoes trouble on herself.. as we all know, she was greatly encouraged by others..
However had we known, looking back.. that the whole summer would be capped with LinWoe's resulting in a life of crime.. and many members left in tears.. we may have stopped it before it started. I doubt it though.. I seriously doubt it.. |

So just how many members would become ill..and how many would be taken in by LinWoe is a story that should be told.. lest it happens to the rest of us. |

And as the long HOT summer seems to drag on.. and the boards are slow.. this may be a good time..
Especially as I just read that LynnRowe has run out of private messages for the month.and therefore cannot pm me... not of course, that she in any way resembles the main character of this story LinWoe... -- Edited on 8/18/10 7:00 AM -- |
