Oh goody..how interesting. I did check on line in several areas and even in other countries and in Janome news..and found nothing about it other than it was listed on one dealers site but when you clicked on the listing it only took you to the Janome, com site and it was not listed there.
I even checked the Elna site to see if Janome made a new Elna that might be the same..you know, like Elna has the 7300 like Janomes 6600..but nuthin. I did see a new Elna machine that I had not seen before though on the Elna USA site. It is the 7100 and looks like the same machine as one the straight stitch Janome 1600P quilt models.
I hope we find out more about the MC 6300 Pro soon.

Oooh sounds interesting.

I was looking at the Janome 6600P & the Elna 7300 machines. I'll just have to wait and see what a 6300P is like now.

I'm hoping its cheaper than the Horizon, has a free arm and is like a newer version of the 6600.

Or it might be like the former 6500 with a face-lift. That wouldn't have a free-arm though. With the 6xxx # it almost has to be a version of 6500 or 6600? Interesting, alright. Anyone know if 6600 is being discontinued now w/ the Horizon out or if it will stay?

I'm wondering why they would assign a model number of 6300P when there is a 6500, 6600, 7700? Maybe it's just a typo?

Yeh, maybe they mean 8300, to replace the 7700. (Comparable, perhaps, to Bernina's 830?)

I already checked the Janome global, USA and other Janome sites and did not find the machine listed on any of them. I was wondering about the model number too thinking it would have been the 6800 instead of the 6300 being that it follows the 6500 and 6600 models.
I don't think a new machine that has yet to be introduced to the public would be on the Janome sites as yet..but maybe it will be soon and I will continue to keep checking. Usually they announce the new machines in the Janome news ads etc. but I found nothing there either about this machine. I hope it comes out soon.

Maybe it's the name of the Horizon in a different country. Janome does rename their machines sold elsewhere.
