I'd love to hear your comments . |

Date: 1/18/11 11:05 AM I was just about to write a post like this one. I've been looking at the Juki F600 for about one year. I got a lemon Singer in the 80's and have not had a sewing machine because of it. I would like to get back into sewing but I guess I'm afraid I'll get another lemon. I've looked at other s/m but always went back to the Juki. I would also like to know if everyone still likes their Juki s/m?------ Bernina Nova 900 my son-in-law namedt"Money Spent"

Date: 1/18/11 11:22 AM Yep! Very pleasant to use and great piercing power. Free-motions well, and is light enough to take to class, but has a large harp area. its a great size for a quilter.------ Deb |

Date: 1/18/11 12:06 PM I have no regrets, especially for the price I paid -- $899. It's definitely a high quality machine. I like the fact that it can handle heavier materials without bogging down. I love the automatic thread cutter. I don't know how I ever lived without it. The needle threader works well, which is a real time saver for me. It makes beautiful buttonholes. I don't quilt, so I can't speak to its abilities in that regard, but it's been great for garment sewing.------ Susie

Date: 1/18/11 12:56 PM I have the F400 which is basically the same machine. I absolutely love the stitches I've tried both for sewing and for applique. It also handles thick layers quite well and does a beautiful job of feeding the fabric evenly and accurately. This is my first Juki but will look to the company for future needs based on my satisfaction with this machine. |

Date: 1/18/11 1:50 PM As the OP I need to put in my 2 cents...I still love my F600 even though it has started making a clunking noise over heavy seams and my thread cutter has stopped working (only in the last week or so). Since it's still under warranty, I sent it back to the shop where they should get her purring again. Noise notwithstanding, it has sewn through everything I've thrown at it and I would purchase it again in a second. I sold my Janome serger to get a Juki 654DE so I guess I'm a convert . |

Date: 1/18/11 5:06 PM I really like my F600. It feeds the fabric evenly and has great piercing power for those heavy seams and materials. My only issue is with the needle threader. Mine quit working (it was great while it was working) and since I bought it online at a great price, I haven't taken it in to be fixed. I do have a Juki dealer in my area though. |

Date: 1/18/11 5:31 PM Still liking it a lot!
I've since bought an industrial straight stitch machine for my drapery workroom business (a new enterprise), and I worried that my F600 might be redundant.
It isn't getting quite as much use now but I still turn to it for certain projects (lighter weight pillows, placemats, napkins) and about half my garment sewing (which is much reduced to the new biz).
Still happy with the features, the quality, the buttonholes and the overall sewing experience.------ Virginia
