Date: 1/20/11 11:32 PM I love the new embellished T's out now, but some run close to $100! I just saw some pricey spring T's that even had raw necklines and hems.
Many of the do-it-yourself online ideas feature mainly adding flowers. Anyone have any other cool designs they have done or
websites, blogs, etc. to share?
What fabrics do you use other than knits which won't ravel too much and are washable? Do you always need a stabilizer?

Subscribing to the pricey catalogs is a good idea.
I saw one blog where you stipple a couple colors of
fabric paint on first, this gives depth to the flowers on top.
Check out the $550 T-shirt "wedding dress"?? on net-a-porter.com.
(sorry, I don't know how to add the photo) It's just random
ribbon on a full-length T!

Date: 12/1/12 8:31 AM Any Spring 2013 online updates on these, as ruffles, flowers, etc. seem to be going away?
I'm looking for the measurements for adding a nice separate Cowl neck to a T pattern. How much do you drop the neckline for modesty and what Length/Width for the cowl? I read you can use the existing back
neckline if you cut the cowl in a crescent shape instead of a rectangle, which also makes it cooler. I'm not a fan of the fold-over cowls, as they aren't substantial enough, cut too high, low, or wide. -- Edited on 12/1/12 8:34 AM -- |
