Can you all tell me what web site you thinks is good to post your pics for PR. I've not done this before and don't have a clue of what the difference between the ones out there.

I use flickr It is in your yahoo.com mail There are others out there to. they are real easy to use. hope this helps

I have used "webshots", and also now use Picasa, the google service. Both work well.

I was using flickr and found out there is a limit to how many photos you can post for free (in addition to the monthly upload limits). It is 200. I didn't know that until I was about 20 photos shy of the limit.
I looked at a few other sites and ended up using Picasa. Picasa has a 1,024 MB limit and my camera photos come out at 1 to 3 MB each if I don't change it. I just resize them (I don't think 8x10s are needed of my sewing projectsand at this rate, I'll be able to post over 2000 photos on Picasa.

I just found Fotki in a top-10 reviews listing. (www.fotki.com) Nice thing is that the security settings have a lot more choices than other sites I looked at. I did not like how other sites allowed sharing by anyone viewing the photos. I could not figure out how to turn that feature off in Photobucket (which seems to auto-fill facebook?) and flickr's security features were too hard for me to find. I did not like webshots interface.

Photobucket - I have a huge stash of photos there.

Also, if I post something on Facebook or my blog first, I just right-click the picture and use the copy image URL command.

I was using flickr also and maxed out. I just signed up for Picasa and I like it alot better. Thanks, maybe now I can blog some now that everything is all connected!

Just want to add that I consolidated all my blogging activity and related photos around the same email address @ gmail.

So I can log on to Blogger and Picassa with the same username and password. Also helps speed up the blogging.
