A little unclear on the brochure/website... Does the 640 have both a low bobbin sensor/indicator and thread cutter? And if yes on the cutter is it only for embroidery or regular sewing too? Thanks!

I have the brochure and it shows it has the low bobbin sensor. The thread cutter cuts the threads automatically in embroidery after each color. There is a button above the reverse button to cut threads during sewing.

Here's an answer for the 640 FAQ's at the website:
How do I know how much thread is left on the bobbin?
At approx. 20% remaining amount on the bobbin, a spool symbol and '20%' appears on the screen. Final notice is '<8%'. The machine stops when the bobbin is empty.

Are you talking about the atomatic thread cutter? If so yes it has this. Like the 730 for regular sewing. Im not certain about the low bobbin sensor. The 630 and 635 do not have this feature because they have the oscalating bobbin. The price I got for the 640 without the bsr or embrodiary was 4,700
while the 635 was 3700.
