Date: 3/23/11 2:43 PM I am running out of time to get some athletic fabric (preferably lightweight polyester wicking fabric) to make running shirts in time for a race. I would like to buy some at the LA Fashion District instead of online to save myself time, especially since I would need to order samples if I go the online route.
I don't remember seeing any wicking fabric in Levine's, and I haven't spent much time wandering around the rest of the garment district... except to know that there are a *million* stores in the area. Does anyone remember seeing any stores that specialize in athletic fabric in the area?
Google searches so far have led me only to the Spandex Warehouse... which sounds awesome, except their website sounds like they only let you buy fabric by the roll? That wouldn't work for me, if true.
Actually... if you have any sources in the LA area that *aren't* in the Fashion District, those would be extremely helpful as well.
Thanks in advance! |

Date: 10/17/12 3:28 AM It will be hit and miss downtown in the fabric district. I would try the Loft just for luck--but you have to guess at content. If you really want a certain kind in a hurry I would go to Mood. HTH. |
